Biography

 

Frank Henry Mason was a founder member of the Staithes Art Club sometimes referred to as the Northern Impressionists.
During the First World War Frank Henry Mason was appointed shipping war artist and the Imperial War Museum holds many of his paintings from the period.
During the 1920s and 1930s he designed poster artwork for many railway companies.
